Castings rescheduled at the Piraten Open Air theatre

Due to the ongoing social-distance requirements, the ban on public meetings of more than 2 people as well as the accompanying regulatory obligations and in order to protect both our employees and the people who are going to attend the pending castings, we decided to reschedule our April 11th call. It is our hope that our castings can be conducted on our premises on April 25th as having been planned by us. We believe that considering the current situation and in order to slow down both the risk of infection and the spread of this virus this will be the correct decision.

Please stay healthy.

We are looking forward to meeting you during our casting sessions at the Piraten Open Air action theatre on April 25th.

Dear supporters and friends of the Piraten Open Air theatre in Grevesmühlen,

We’re looking ahead while sailing close to the wind and defiantly pissing on Jonah’s parade.

We hope and wish you are going to weather out the current exceptional situation so we all will be able to kick off this year’s 16th season on June 19th safe and sound and just like we’ve been planning it.

All theatre staff carry on with their work unwaveringly, so the premiere of A Kingdom before the Wind can be brought to you as scheduled.

Hence, the interviews for this year’s bit players and waitrons still take place on April 25th, 2020.

If we are unable to put on this year’s stage production due to both an official disallowance by the authorities and the measures we need to take, we are going to inform you in good time.

Please rest assured that all the funds that have been invested so far are not lost. The theatre is going to contrive ways and means to reimburse you.

We appreciate your trust in our theatre.

Stay healthy or get well soon until we meet again at the Piraten Open Air theatre in Grevesmühlen underneath the sky above Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
