Lounge sleeping coach of the former government train of the GDR

A highlight of the Gadebusch historic railway station is the lounge sleeping coach from the former government train of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) used by politicians and top athletes for travelling to conferences and Olympic Games, respectively.

After an elaborate reconditioning and at the same time restoring both the original lacquering and the initial equipment of 1968, the coach now features six twin sleeping compartments, a lavatory as well as a communal shower.

How about spending your wedding night in our sleeping coach and thus in a one-of-a-kind environment steeped in history as another highlight of your wedding day? The cosily furnished compartments are equipped with a separate wash basin with cold and hot water, wardrobes, a collapsible table and mirrors.

Your overnight stay includes breakfast in an unhurried atmosphere at our Station Burgsee restaurant.

Pension Garni Seba

Established in 2007, you will find our B&B at the Große Alleestraße 51/53 in Grevesmühlen. We offer modern-day rooms combined with a hearty breakfast for reasonable prices. In 2010, we had all our rooms substantially refurnished and our facade lovingly redecorated. Since May 2010, there have been parking spaces out the front of our B&B directly arriving from the B105 road. Please note that there are bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity to pop in for a proper supper. In that regard, we would like to recommend the Altes Rathaus inn, the Café Körner and the Seeschlösschen restaurant. These establishments are all within walking distance from our B&B. Of course, our parking spaces are at your disposal exempt from any charges. You are going to enjoy your stay with us. The seaside resort of Boltenhagen (approx. 14 kilometres away), the Hanseatic city of Wismar (approx. 20 kilometres away) and Schwerin, the capital city of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, (approx. 30 kilometres away) are nearby places worth visiting. Additionally, you will get quite swiftly to the city centre which has got plenty to offer as well: from laid-back shopping to the manifold cultural highlights and delicious restaurants.
